Our mail servers delete ALL blacklisted emails daily. In other words, blacklisting of your spam email does NOT work!
Spam email is sent from thousands of hacked servers and personal computers, thus the origination of each spam email shows a different location and is never the same. The same goes with the return email address, which is ALWAYS different, as well as the subject, text in the email and everything else. Since everything in spam is always different, there is NO way to blacklist email. That’s why it does not work.
The only thing blacklisted email does is use valuable server resources. Blacklisting will NOT stop the spam. As a result, every 24 hours our mail servers DELETE all email blacklisted.

Since the first of this month, we have been in the process of moving ALL clients to servers with brand new software, including new control panels and new Web Site Builder. In addition, if you’re web site is located on a server of at least 2 years of age, you will be moved to a brand new server.
Our new control panels are faster and have additional features with improved security, and easier to use.
Our new Web Site Builder has two levels, Basic and Pro, depending on your level of expertise. This new web based software offers ease of use with many additional features allowing complete customization of your template design, layout, drag and drop text, and much more! The offices of Bummer Hosting Solutions will be closed Monday, May 31st, 2010 for Memorial Day. Normal office hours will resume at 9:00am CST (GMT -06:00) on Tuesday, June 1st.
As always, 24 hour emergency support will be on duty should you experience any network or server issues.
Our email servers will be updated on August 27, 2007 between 1am – 6am, CST (GMT -06:00).
We do not anticipate any problems or outages. There is a small possibility of connection problems for a few minutes during the updates. If there are any connection issues, they should be brief.
If you thought Bummer Mail servers were the fastest you could find, think again. Our email servers will be even faster! The Bummer Mail on the web will a new look and added functionality.
We hate spam! We also know that all of our clients hate spam. Heck, everyone hates spam! Unfortunately, spam keeps getting worse and worse.
Although we offer spam filters for email upon request, many clients do not use them. Just like us, they want to be sure they receive all of their legitimate email. The only way you can do that it to go through each and every email you receive. That means that you also have to check all the email in your spam filters. If that’s the case, what good are spam filters?
This is why we attempt to remove as much as the spam from your email as possible before it gets to you. The hard part is to remove 100% spam and let the good email go through. We use over 12 processes which are very affective at removing spam. Right now, we are able to remove at least 95% of the spam before it gets to you. So if you think you’re getting a lot now, you have NO idea how much you really should be receiving!
We have started testing a new process a few days ago. Many of you may have noticed it. There is a 1 second delay when you send your email. We can extend this to as many seconds as we want. This delay is there for a reason. Many spammers are in a hurry to send as much spam as possible. If they try to connect to our servers and there is a delay, they move on and don’t send the spam, thus you don’t receive it!
We need to hear from you on this new spam test.

If the response if favorable and spam is reduced, we will continue to have a 1 second delay when sending email. But if the responses are not good and/or the spam isn’t reduced, we will discontinue the test.
